To understand how terrorism and transnational crime threaten a democracy one moldiness first begin to understand the concept of each that is listed and how they are intertwined. Globalization is the continual increase in transnational and ball wide economy, social, and cultural interactions that transcend the boundaries of states[1]. Transnational of course referring to Non-state actors that bodge state borders[2]. They include: economically agenda based institutions, non-governmental organizations with a humanitarian goal as well as terrorist groups that ascertain across borders.[3]
Globalization over the years has dramatically decreased world poverty and undermined repressive regimes. The development of technology has vie a most applauding role in the globalization of the world.[4] An pattern of this can be seen in telecommunication, research development and pledge measures (military weapons) as these all aid in economic proceeds as they create job opportunities and aid nation states meeting together.
[5] We live in a world which is home to legion(predicate) powerful nations (as is supported by pluralist; they see the world as hosting more than one governmental actor in its political arena).[6] These powerful nations all have one thing in common; their ability to influence other nation states to do what they intend. The nature of this persuasion is often debatable as to whether or not it is coercive or non-coercive. For some, Transnational crime and so globalization is the cause for all inequalities, injustices and misfortunes of the world. It threatens a nations peaceful order with pure tyranny and anarchy.[7]
